Four Seasons: Punta Mita, Mexico
Style: Romantic, Family, Beach
About: Four Seasons Punta Mita is in an exclusive development in Punta Mita, along the Riviera Nayarit. This is a beachfront property spread out over many acres, giving the resort a more intimate experience.
Rooms: There are many wonderful options for accommodations. They start off with Casitas, which are very roomy, then Suites which can accommodate up to 10 adults, then One-Bedroom Suites and my favorite is the Oceanfront view. If you are staying for an extended time, have a large family or want to have a girls weekend, then the Private Residence Villas will be perfect for you! These come with a golf cart as they are higher up the property.
Pool/Gym: They have an infinity pool, an adult-oriented pool area, and a lazy river for the kids and the kids at heart.
Restaurants: There are many delicious options to choose from. Aramara features contemporary Asian cuisine. Bahia by Richard Sandoval serves up seafood in a beachfront grill and restaurant. Ketsi is open all day and has both American and Mexican dishes. For tennis players or golfers, you will find Tail of the Whale in the upper golf clubhouse. They also have multiple lounges and private dining.
Vibe: Casual, beachfront resort with Mexican inspired decor.
Spa: Four Seasons Apuane Spa features Signature Life Balancing Rituals, massages, skin care rituals, bridal services, and they will come to you.
Kids: This is the perfect destination for families, including multi-generational. With their Residence Villas, it makes it very easy to bring everyone with you. They have a supervised Kids for all Seasons club, they provide a special welcome for the children including child-size bathrobes, baby care baskets, milk and cookies, and other fun amenities. When you are ready for adults only, Four Seasons will arrange for a babysitter. They also have plentiful activity options for the whole family.
Wheelchair Accessibility: This is wheelchair accessible, but some areas can be hilly and the property is large. Best suited for a power wheelchair or a manual chair with the assist of a travel partner.
Why you should go: Four Seasons is blessed to be able to enjoy some of the best snorkeling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and whale-watching on the planet, not to mention their golf courses.
Tip: Charter the Four Seasons 55-foot private yacht to explore the waters of Bahia de Banderas. You can fish, swim with dolphins, snorkel, surf, or simply cruise around and relax.
